Syntrex FoodOS connects demand forecasting, recipes, inventory, purchasing and food-cost reporting in one place — driven by your own sales and stock data, not guesswork.
Start with sample data and explore every screen before importing your own.
One workflow, from forecast to food cost
Each step feeds the next: the forecast sets production, production drives ingredient needs, needs become purchase orders, and received orders update stock and cost.
Demand forecasting
Weighted moving averages by weekday from your own service history, adjusted for weather, PD days and Friday menu patterns, with P10/P50/P90 ranges so you can plan for the busy days without overproducing on the quiet ones.
Recipes, BOM & inventory
Each recipe carries its ingredient bill of materials. A production plan explodes into exact ingredient requirements, checked against stock on hand, with shortages and cost per serving calculated for you.
Purchasing
Suggested purchase orders grouped by supplier from forecast demand, par levels and lead times. Approve, send, receive and cancel — receiving a PO updates stock automatically.
Food-cost analytics
Theoretical versus actual food cost by location, measured against your target range, so you see variance while there is still time to act on it.
CSV import
Bring in sales history, inventory masters and supplier price lists exported from your POS, spreadsheets or ERP. Column names are matched automatically and every row is validated before it is saved.
Audit trail
Sign-ins, imports and purchase-order changes are written to an append-only, hash-chained log that administrators can review and verify at any time.
How it works
- 1
Create your workspace
Register your organization. Start from sample data to explore, or from a clean slate.
- 2
Import what you already have
Upload sales, inventory and supplier pricing as CSV. Rejected rows come back with the reason.
- 3
Plan, order and review
Use the forecast to set production, approve the suggested orders, and track food cost through the month.
Know who changed what, and when
Food service data drives real spending. Every sign-in, data import and purchase-order change is recorded with the person, time and before/after values. Each entry is chained to the previous one with a SHA-256 hash, so any edit or deletion is detectable — administrators can verify the chain from the audit screen.
- Append-only log: updates and deletes are rejected by the database
- Changes and their audit entries are saved in the same transaction
- One-click integrity verification
Secure sign-in
Passwords are hashed with scrypt. Sessions are server-side, carried in HttpOnly cookies, and expire after inactivity. Repeated failed sign-ins lock the account temporarily.
Isolated organizations
Every record belongs to one organization, and the database enforces that references never cross from one organization to another.
Role-based access
Viewers can read, managers can import data and work purchase orders, administrators can review the audit log.
